The British Fashion Awards were Monday night, and you know what that means: All your favorite style stars (including the entire Victoria’s Secret model plane) assembled in one place to celebrate one another — and wear some seriously head-turning outfits. And we couldn’t let you head to drinks with your friends without getting all the must-know details first.

The style was serious… Serious can mean a number of things, in this situation. In Rihanna‘s case, it means seriously devoid of pants, as the star continued her streak of wearing as little clothing as possible and making it all about the accessories. For this event, that meant a Stella McCartney black blazer, tights and a simple bun, then blowing out the look with zillions of diamonds, lime green nails, and a fabulous shoe/clutch combination.
Emma Watson also opted for an oversized blazer — though she used hers to top considerably more clothing (in her case, a wide-legged white jumpsuit by Misha Nonoo). Side-parted locks and matte red lips finished her look. Finally, Kendall Jenner (who jetted in from Salzburg for the evening) made a glamorous appearance in a tight white jumpsuit (was there some mandatory blazer/jumpsuit dress code?) and a ruby red lip.

…But Cara Delevingne was not! Supermodel Cara Delevingne (also in town from Salzburg for one night, and also sporting black-and-white — though she’s in a Burberry gown) picked up the model of the year award. And forget smiling pretty — the top model saved her goofiest looks and poses for the red carpet, award in hand. We suppose that’s why she’s so irresistible to, you know, every fashion brand under the sun. (Fun fact: She also went home with the same award in 2012. Guess the power of those brows is strong.)
And Lily Allen’s hair accessories were just seriously unusual. Last up, Lily Allen, who didn’t adhere to the black/white/blazer uniform — she wore sky-blue Vivienne Westwood with a long cape train — and she also didn’t adhere to the expected hairstyle either. She swept her bright orange hair up into a chignon, then added tiny jeweled devil horns (get a better look at them here). Is she angling for an early entry in Obsessed or Hot Mess? And if so, how would you vote?
Whose look has you talking most? Anything you’ll wear to work tomorrow?
