There were plenty of head-turning looks on the MTV Movie Awards red carpet Sunday night (both for good and … less good … reasons).
But three of the most noteworthy styles didn’t make an appearance until mid-show, leaving us shouting at the television screen for a better look.
So this morning we rounded up those notable outfits to make sure you don’t miss a shot of the always-daring MTV Movie Awards style.

First up was Amanda Seyfried in a trompe l’oeil nude mini with blue lace accents that had us thinking she was wearing a romper, plus Rupert Sanderson pumps and her signature covetable long, loose waves. Emma Watson showed again why she’s such a trailblazer in a chic watercolor-print mini with a geometric yoke and Proenza Schouler lace-up heels.
And Brad Pitt made a surprise appearance — but didn’t surprise much in his style — by wearing a very Brad Pitt-y all-black ensemble, including a John Varvatos suede jacket, which he paired with an unkempt ponytail.
